Thanks to all of you that participated in the recent survey concerning possible changes in our sanitation schedule. The results were:
Yes - change to curbside as soon as possible 252 61.6%
No - no change at this time 157 38.4%
The Board of Alderpersons at its regularly scheduled September 6 meeting voted to change as follows:
Pick up of solid waste at the curb beginning on Monday, October 3 for all residents.
The recyclable pickup schedule remains unchanged (Mondays)
If you subscribe for yard waste - no change (still Mondays)
If you desire pickup of solid waste at the rear of your property, the service is available for $7.60 a month. You may contact Meridian at 314-291-3131 ext. 8.
Again, all residents' sanitation pickups will be on Mondays.
