Minutes of January 2002 Meeting
Board of Aldermen

The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. A roll call was taken with the following results:

Moratorium on Construction of Non-attached Connected Garages: Alderperson Twichell made a motion to extend the moratorium on the construction of non-attached connected garages, seconded by Alderperson Gatto. A voice vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion was declared passed.

Lateral Sewer Repair: Discussion took place regarding the Policy, Procedure and Plumber's Verification Form. Mayor Douglass asked Patrick Butler to make the necessary changes.

Accessory Structures: Mayor Douglass explained his mistake in stating that at the January 8 meeting, the roll call vote taken to pass the amended motion, which is to not allow accessory buildings (with the exception of [a limit of one] pool house or gazebo) except on lots of two (2) or more acres was three ayes, two nays. Mayor Douglass erroneously declared the vote inadequate to pass. He apologized and stated the vote remains affirmative and will be sent to Planning and Zoning for their consideration.

Signage: There was discussion and it was determined that several grammatical corrections along with numbering and lettering changes were required. The Board of Aldermen also would like to be added to the list of responsible parties that may remove signage in violation of the Code.

There being no further business, Alderperson Shea made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Alderperson Sharp. Mayor Douglass declared the meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
