The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. A

Alderperson
Schiller made a motion to accept the Minutes.
Alderperson Sittser seconded the motion.
A voice vote was taken with an affirmative result and the motion was
declared passed.
REMARKS, PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS:
Mr. Stan Domijan of 2317 Sterling Pointe Dr. mentioned the short light problem at Clarkson and Kehrs Mill Roads.
Mrs.
Renee Hennekes of 27 Clarkson Farm Dr. asked about the CitiMortgage property.
REPORTS
Ballwin Police Report: Captain Schicker handed out the Police Summary for May 2006.
Mayor's Report:
Court
Report:
The total amount collected for traffic fines and court costs for the
month of May 2006 was $17,729.64.
Budget:
Mayor Douglass stated that additional work was done on the budget and it
should be ready for passage next month.
Sanitation
Contract:
Mayor Douglass said he has been discussing the bids with various hauling
companies and should have more to discuss next month and later during this
meeting.
Alderpersons’ Reports:
Electric
Signal Dilemma at Kehrs Mill and Clarkson Roads:
Alderperson Shea reported that the timing of the electric signal at Kehrs
Mill Road and Clarkson Road appears to have changed during the last week of
school, which is causing chaos.
She said the length of the left-turn arrow on eastbound Kehrs Mill Road
was shortened and traffic backs up to the bottom of the hill.
Mayor Douglass said he would speak with representatives of MoDOT.
Attorney's Report:
City Attorney, Patrick Butler, spoke about the sunshine law and quizzed the Members of the Board.

BILL
NO. 0329 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A FOUR MONTH CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR
COLLECTION OF RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE, RECYCLABLES, COMPOSTABLES AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
CLARKSON VALLEY, ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI.
Alderperson
Shea made a motion to consider and pass Bill No. 0329.
Alderperson Schultz seconded the motion.
Mayor Douglass read Bill No. 0329 the first time.
There was no discussion. Mayor
Douglass read Bill No. 0329 the second time.
A roll call vote was taken with the following result:
Yeas: Meyer, Mixson,
Schiller, Shea, Shultz and Sittser. Whereby
Mayor Douglass declared Bill No. 0329 as having passed and is now Ordinance No.
06-09.
Motion
to Delay Discussion and Passage of Budget Until Next Month: Alderperson Schultz made a motion to delay the discussion and
passage of the Budget until next month. Alderperson
Shea seconded the motion. A voice
vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion was declared
passed.
Forest
Hills Country Club's Request for Pyrotechnic Display: A motion was made by Alderperson Shea to approve the request
to hold the country club's annual fireworks display. Alderperson Schultz seconded the motion.
A voice vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion
was declared passed.
Audit:
Alderperson Shea made a motion, seconded by Alderperson Schiller to have
invoices in the amount of $79,062.95 approved for payment.
A voice vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion
was declared passed.
Alderperson
Schultz made a motion for the Board of Aldermen of Clarkson Valley to adjourn,
seconded by Alderperson Shea. A
voice vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion was
declared passed. The meeting
adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
