AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF CLARKSON VALLEY, MISSOURI, IN TITLE III: TRAFFIC CODE, CHAPTER 380: VEHICLE EQUIPMENT, ARTICLE I. LIGHT REGULATIONS, SECTION 380.010: WHEN LIGHTS REQUIRED, BY DELETING PARAGRAPH A AND ADDING A NEW PARAGRAPH A.

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF CLARKSON VALLEY, ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

            SECTION 1:  The Municipal Code, City of Clarkson Valley, Missouri, is hereby amended in Title III: Traffic Code, Chapter 380: Vehicle Equipment, Article I. Light Regulations, Section 380.010: When Lights Required, by deleting Paragraph A and adding a new Paragraph A.

      SECTION 2:  A new Paragraph A shall be adopted which will read as follows: 

A.   "When lighted lamps are required" means at any time from a half (1/2) hour after sunset to a half (1/2) hour before sunrise and at any other time when there is not sufficient light to render clearly discernible persons and vehicles on the highway at a distance of five hundred (500) feet ahead.  Also, when weather conditions require usage of the motor vehicle's windshield wipers or during periods of fog, lighted lamps are required. 

            SECTION 3:  This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
