Traffic Court Information

The Clarkson Valley Municipal Court is responsible for processing all municipal traffic violations and municipal ordinance violations. The court is presided over by the Honorable Renč Lusser and the Prosecuting Attorney is G. Richard Fox.

A full time Court Clerk processes all summons, court dockets and receives the payment of all fines. Municipal court is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month (with the 2008 exception of March,  November and December). It is held in the St. Louis County West Government Center located at 82 Clarkson Wilson Centre. Directions: East Side of Clarkson Road at Wilson Road in a strip mall.

The following is a schedule of fines that in most cases may be paid by mail. The mailing address is City of Clarkson Valley, Municipal Court, P.O. Box 987, Chesterfield, MO 63006. Make checks payable to: City of Clarkson Valley. If paying in person, the address is 15933 Clayton Road. Directions from Manchester Road, go north on Clarkson Road to west on Clayton Road. The first driveway on the right leads to the Fru-Con Center. Clarkson Valley City Hall is on the first floor. Please stop at reception area. City Hall office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

TRAFFIC VIOLATION BUREAU
SCHEDULE OF FINES AND COSTS

(Effective date of Schedule of Fines and Costs - August 1, 2004)

It is hereby ordered that the following schedule of fines for violations of the traffic ordinances of the City of Clarkson Valley be prominently posted where the fines are to be paid. This schedule applies to cases disposed of ONLY through the Traffic Violations Bureau.

In all of the cases listed below (with the exception of seat belt and no motorcycle helmet violations), the court costs shall be $12.00, plus $7.50 for Compensation to Victims of Crime (CVC) and shall be collected in addition to the fines set out below. For all violations there is an additional $3.00 charged for Police Training Fund (PTF). 

The stated fines reflect the amount of the fine if paid before the Court date at the Traffic Violation Bureau. In Court, the Judge can assess a fine from $1.00 to $1000.00 and/or one (1) to ninety (90) days in jail per violation.
