Trash Collection Basic Information

Meridian Waste has over 1,000 65-gallon wheeled and hinge-lidded recycling toters they are offering free of charge to the residents of Clarkson Valley. They are larger and take up more space than the bins we currently use and instead of dropping them off to every household, we would rather you request them.  Please call Meridian Waste at 314-291-3131 to request one today, or feel free to call City Hall at 636-227-8607.  If it is after hours, please leave a message along with your address.  These are free to the residents of Clarkson Valley.

  7. Trash Pick-Up Holiday Schedule
  8. Tips and Common Courtesy:
    • Please put trash out in the morning on pick-up days.
    • Spraying trash cans with ammonia once a week helps repel raccoons and dogs.
    • The use of plastic bags for household waste prevents littering of streets, since loose trash is easily blown from the truck.
    • Place filled and tied plastic bags in covered containers to avoid animals getting into your trash.
    • Please maintain access to driveways and streets on service days.
