• Applications must be received no less than seven days prior to the proposed garage sale.
• Permits will not be issued for a garage sale at the same address which has had a prior garage sale within six (6) months of the application.
• The proposed sale must not commence prior to 7:00 A.M. and cease operations at sunset on the date of the sale.
• Applicants are allowed to erect one sign on the premises on which the sale is taking place, and three signs off-premises (off-premises signs must be informational or directional signs related to the sale). Signs shall not be erected more 24 hours prior to sale. Any sign installed shall not exceed four square feet.
• Applicant must obtain five temporary "no-parking" signs from City Hall. Signs are to be installed on the opposite side of the street nearest the residence having the sale at 50 feet intervals at least one hour prior to the commencement of the sale.
• Please remove all signs immediately upon conclusion if the sale.
