On Tuesday, May 6, 2023, the Mayor of Clarkson Valley, Sue McNamara, presented “The Mayoral Commendation” to Crestview Middle School Resource Officer, Andrew Budd. Officer Budd was recognized for his swift action in saving the life of a student who was choking and unable to breathe during a lunch period in mid-May. Officer Budd administered abdominal thrusts which dislodged the obstruction and allowed the student to breathe normally once again. Congratulations to Officer Budd on a job well done.
