Mayor Douglass reported he’s been working on the revenues and expenditures for the upcoming budget and was waiting for the police bid to be awarded. He said 62% of the budget is Police/Sanitation and 30% Court. He is also waiting to receive a report of Prop P funds and he’ll have an estimate this month of what Clarkson Valley can expect. One issue with that revenue stream is it must be used toward Public Safety. We have questions as to whether snow plowing, etc. is considered Public Safety. He concluded by saying those funds must be segregated and then we must designate how it will be used.
