Bee Hives:  Mayor Douglass said he would like to briefly discuss the issue of bee hives in our City and said he had three options he would like the Board to discuss.  He began stating these options and some votes were taken, line-by-line for the points made within these options.  However, Alderperson Meyer made a motion to eliminate any further discussion and to continue using the current ordinance.  Alderperson Blanner seconded the motion.  A roll call vote was taken on the motion with the following result:  Ayes:  Blanner, McNamara, Meyer, Midyett, and Schultz.  Nays:  Schiller.  Mayor Douglass declared the motion as having passed and we will continue using the current, existing code regarding bees.
