Normally Clarkson Valley receives the assessed valuation figures for real estate from St. Louis County in mid-September and that is the reason we call a special meeting to pass this ordinance.  Once these values come to us, we send them to the Missouri State Auditor’s office whereupon they calculate the amounts we can charge for residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate and personal property.

BILL NO. 0518 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TAX RATE ESTABLISHED IN ORDINANCE 22-10 LEVYING AND ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL RATE OF TAXES ON ALL REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CLARKSON VALLEY.

A motion was made by Alderperson McNamara to discuss and pass Bill No. 0518.  Alderperson Schiller seconded the motion.  The City Clerk read Bill No. 0518 for the first time.  There was no discussion.  The City Clerk read Bill No. 0518 the second time.  A roll call vote was taken, with the following results.  Ayes:  Bogosian, McNamara, Meyer, Midyett, and Schiller.  There were no Nays.  Whereby, Mayor Douglass declared Bill No. 0518 as having passed and is now Ordinance No. 22-10.

Alderperson Meyer made a motion to adjourn the virtually held Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen, seconded by Alderperson Midyett.  A voice vote was taken with a unanimous affirmative result and the motion was declared passed.  The Meeting of the Board of Aldermen adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
